Scuola Superiore di Studi Universitari e di Perfezionamento Sant'Anna

The Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies (SSSA), founded in 1967 in Pisa, is a public special-statute University operating in the field of applied sciences, i.e. law, medicine, agriculture, engineering, political science, economics and management.

The Institute of Management (IdM) is part of SSSA and promotes and valorises theoretical and applied research activity, also multidisciplinary, in the field of management of the economy, organizationy and management of innovation, sustainability and health, in the field of private and public organizations.

The Institute of Management is organized into three areas:

  • Health Management
  • Management of Innovation
  • Sustainability Management (SuM)

The PRISCA project is coordinated by SuM area.
The mission of SuM is to combine the knowledge of business management and policy making with the principles of sustainability, through scientific research and empirical investigations on:

  • Environmental Management
  • Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability Management
  • Energy Management
  • Waste Management

IdM/SuM has a long experience in master programmes on environmental, waste management and resource efficiency and has relevant experience in projects on environmental, energy and waste management at regional, national and European level.
